In this episode of Integrated Wisdom, I explores why it is important to understand the stories of our family and ancestors to recognise the invisible ways our ancestors may be influencing our beliefs and fears even today.
I discuss the findings of epigenetic research and how we now understand the impact of epigenetic inheritance as a contributing factor to some of our emotional states, attitudes and limiting beliefs.
I also explore the power of energy modalities such as Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT) or tapping, and Family Constellations, as developed by German Psychotherapist, Bert Hellinger, in helping us to understand and heal from the ancestral wounds we may carry.
For those interested in understanding the mechanisms and process of Family Constellations, I recommend watching the Netflix Series 'Another Self', as it illustrates the concepts and process really clearly.
