Tara O’Brien (nee Singh) was born in North York, Canada to Guyanese parents. Both of her parents were born and raised in Guyana, South America and emigrated to Toronto in the mid 1970s.
A natural born storyteller, Tara loved creating Hollywood-type sets out of her living room and by the time she was thirteen years old, she started making her own films. She has honed her skills as a model, appearing on international billboards, ad campaigns, editorials and on fashion segments for TV.
As an actor she has appeared in television commercials and award winning indie films. Tara is excited to continue to grow and expand her career, continuing her partnership with her model management team and her new partnership with talent agent Jana Abrams.
Her career and her passion for the arts have influenced every part of her life, and in 2020 she created Quiet Noise Media, a business and creative development for the film, commercial broadcast, music and audio industries with long-time friend, executive producer, Lauren Schell.
Tara is married to world-renowned recording artist Snow aka Darrin O’Brien and reside in their hometown Toronto, Canada.
