Today we talk with my old Vancouver friend Jkay aka Jkay 47 originally from Surrey (SURREY WHAT!) now residing in Los Angeles. Jkay is one of the most genuine, positive people I know and is someone who’s drive and work ethic I’ve always respected. She’s represented all over the world and continues to push her craft and I’m happy to share her experiences with you all. We talk about the Surrey dance scene and history, all female hip hop group Fly Antics, all female street dance group Diamonds in the Rough, working full time as a dancer, not compromising your style for a competition win, and more.
