Shari Hubert (Associate Dean of Admissions) could have never predicted how her career would play out. Since graduating from Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School, she has worked at nine different organizations, including Merck, BCG, NBC, GE, Citi, Peace Corps, Georgetown University, and now Duke University.
In this episode, Shari offers life lessons and words of wisdom from her personal experiences. Feeling out of place in school. Learning she was underpaid. Realizing consulting wasn't the right fit. Being laid off during the 2008 financial crisis. Unexpectedly ending up in a job which would turn into her dream career.
Shari shares how she has overcome imposter syndrome at every stage of her journey, to live a life aligned with her passion and purpose.
