The Pittsburgh Scanner is a Twitter account (that now has an Instagram account you should follow!) devoted to being the ears of our fine city! This Yinzer knight in shining armor spends his free time in his basement, drinking Iron City and listening to Pittsburgh’s Police Scanners, all while documenting the most urgent and important situations happening around us. If yinz follow the account then you know exactly the type of content I’m talking about. - These tweets are not fabricated by any means. These are actual situations happening in the city that have came through the police scanner. No embellishment needed in our great city. Content writes itself - This man wishes to remain anonymous but he has put his trust in me and agreed to come on the podcast to talk about all the good work he does on the @pgh_scanner account.
