Manage episode 371712896 series 2963509
The Kent State Shooting was a deplorable act of violence inflicted upon he college students in Ohio on campus during a protest of the Vietnam war in May 1970. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young had just released their famous album Deja Vu but dropped everything to record a song that acts as a reminder to not forget the victims. Join me today in discussing the Kent State Shooting event and how the band wrote the song.
