‘Klokken over Utrecht’

‘God nam ’t hem in het oog. Maar gaf ’t hem in ’t oor.’ – aldus het grafschrift uit 1657 van Jacob van Eyck, beiaardier in Utrecht uit de 17e eeuw. Deze blinde musicus was verantwoordelijk voor de klokken in de Dom te Utrecht en daarnaast speelde hij blokfluit op het Hof rond de Janskerk.
