After not knowing what to do with ourselves for nearly three months and waiting for the football to return - it is great to be back.

The same can be said for the Official Coleraine Podcast which marks its fourth season, and whilst some things don't change as co-hosts Johnny McNabb and Damian Mullan remain in place, there has kindly been a new sponsor for the podcast in the name of the Lodge Hotel.

The first guest this season is striker David McDaid who returned to The Showgrounds in the summer from Ballymena United. He discusses his first spell at Coleraine, how the league has transformed with full-time football and playing on both sides of the border.

McDaid also speaks about playing upfront with Matthew Shevlin, how delighted he was to see Andrew Mitchell return to the pitch following injury and why he believes Conor McKendry can become of the best players in the division.

The trio analyse the win against Ballymena on the opening night of the new season, the large crowd on the Ballycastle Road and Friday night's game away to Loughgall.
