Twitter, the social network platform, has officially rebranded itself as 'X', and simultaneously changed its name to 'x's'. This change followed Elon Musk's announcement a week ago. The transformation includes altering the domain name twitter.com to X.com and changing the logo from a blue bird to the word 'X' based on user suggestions.

However, the transition has led to challenges in replacing various terms associated with Twitter. The term 'tweets', which refers to posts or messages on the platform, is now unclear since the change to 'x'. Other terms like 'Retweet' (sharing a tweet) might be reconsidered as 'ReX' according to Elon Musk.

The rebranding process has caused interface discrepancies, with the new logo only visible on the web browser version while the mobile app remains unchanged. Despite the rebranding, some remnants of the old Twitter interface persist, such as the search box still displaying 'search Twitter' and the post button labeled as 'yet' instead of 'X'.

Famous blogger Marques Brownlee intends to continue using the term 'Twitter', but Elon Musk believes this won't last long.
