This week Vlad & Matty are off, but FTN's Michael Govier (@mjgovier) steps in to host without a hitch! Plus he was able to secure long time fantasy baseball player Paul Sporer (@sporer). This week the fellas take a look at the lessons they have learned from another season of NFBC play. This show mainly focuses on the Main Event & 15-teamers. The fellas recall the legendary Freebie of August 7th. They also look at and discuss big money bids on younger pitchers and the opportunity cost of spending FAAB bucks. Sporer & Govier also get introspective about the 6-month grind of the fantasy baseball season and the long-view perspective that's required. Also, Govier gets brutally honest about having too many teams and how that led to an overloaded obsession about roster diversification. The fellas close with the Main Event overall standings.
