The United States Fish & Wildlife Services (USFWS) recently released the Breeding Population (BPOP) Survey and May Ponds count from aerial observations this past spring. The numbers could be better...a lot better, but the guys break down what these numbers mean for the duck hunter, share some historical trends, and a few thoughts on how to get the mallard population back on track.
