Learn to explore the silence in each others company, give it a chance. To hold on to the silence in a conversation one will have to learn the art of letting go. Let go all the thoughts that we have about each other, let go of the judgement we have on each other that silence brings in. Get to know the person with you. I guarantee you that you will learn a lot more about the person when he or she is in silence than when they speak. One needs to Listen to the environment around itself.
