Jason Garcia joins us to speak about the Minneapolis music community's uprising against abuse, along with the pushback that they have received from using their privilege to speak out on behalf of victims/survivors.

Jason Garcia (they/them) lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They work for a nonprofit that aims to increase food sovereignty for Indigenous people and help make traditional Indigenous foods more accessible. Jason also spends time volunteering with Planned Parenthood and with their neighborhood association. When not doing any of those things, they enjoy spending time in the community and planning leftist get-togethers for the summer.
