Great conversation with an amazing couple of over 30 years. We discussed family, moving around, military life, importance of what the military teaches and how youth could benefit today. We dived into personal experiences with societal issues in america from racism, discrimination, and how (comedically) seeing color actually acknowledges the beautiful differences among different cultures. Which presidents served and how female leaders could impact global society. Difference between men and women, and those dynamics played a role during the Cold War.
We also broke apart musical styles, icons, and impacts different artists' lyrics have had on us and the public. We talked about hip hop then vs now from NY natives who grew up on some of the most fundamental iconic hip hop groups that started the wave of craze with world's #1 genre.
