“’Cuz I don’t give a fuck, I don’t give a fuck, call me Slick Rick, babe, enough is enough!” Was all I could sing as soon as I heard the chorus. It’s been stuck in my head since I heard “Slick Rick” by Number One Sons. Maybe, it’s because the catchiness of the chorus forced me to give a fuck about the song. It’s incredible and it’s the strongest follow-up to Number One Sons’ Wankers EP I could think of. This track might replace “I’d Be So Much Cooler If I Were A Dick” as my favorite song from Number One Sons. “Slick Rick” has everything Number One Sons are known for: Hilariously relatable lyrics, Pop- Punk sensibilities of the early 2000s, and a hook that gets inside your very being and makes you sing along. “Slick Rick” even has a phenomenal performance from Lil Used, a well-known artist in the Emo scene. Fans of Sum-41, Blink-182, and Green Day will love this one. Put Number One Sons’ “Slick Rick” in your playlist now!
