In 1989, a young, beautiful high school student named Junko Furuta was hurriedly bicycling home from work to catch the latest episode of her favorite Japanese television show when she met with foul play. Another young man, who had been rejected by Junko previously, staged an attack on the young girl and subsequently dragged her into a warehouse where he brutally beat and raped her.

But the story is far from over there.

When he was finished, he invited a crew of his friends to the warehouse, each to do the same to the poor captive girl. And certainly, if the story were to end there, that would be horrific enough for any book or horror film. Unfortunately, the brutality of Junko's assaults only began that day.

For the next 44 days, the once beautiful young girl was kept in an attic and severely beaten and raped what has been estimated to be between 400-500 times before her frail and mutilated body finally had enough. What's even worse, the atrocities bestowed upon this once shining light did not stop at the time of her death, as you;ll learn during the podcast.

So Buckle-up America....because Veritas means truth.....and the truth.....starts.....NOW!
