In this episode, I have a great chat with global citizen, smart cookie and tech boss-babe Humaira Ahmed from Locelle. Humaira talks about her experiences growing up in Pakistan, overcoming adversity, following her ambitions, and breaking boundaries as a female Person of Colour in tech. We also dig into gender stereotypes, and she shares the story of her father standing up for her at two pivotal moments in her life. (It's a really amazing story.)
Humaira Ahmed is the Founder and CEO of Locelle. Locelle is a global private platform created for women in the workplace based in British Columbia. As a Pakistani-born Canadian entrepreneur, she is passionate about diversity in traditionally male-dominated industries. Being a woman of colour, immigrant, and having a background in Software Engineering, Humaira is on a mission to inspire and influence women to pursue their ambitions and navigate barriers.
