The Great Pursuit - Sitting at His Feet

This week we are starting a new series on The Great Pursuit of following Jesus in the midst of busyness. Luke 10:38-42 offers a beautiful narrative that touches upon the topics of both busyness and gratitude. The constant pressure to stay active and on the move is a prevalent reality in our lives. When Mary decides to sit at the feet of Jesus, it stands as a deliberate counter to the demands of busyness. Remarkably, Jesus affirms her choice as the superior one. It often requires courage to prioritize sitting at the feet of Jesus over being engrossed in various tasks for Him. The time has come for us to confront the distractions that divert us from choosing the superior path.
