It is with great pleasure that I got to sit down with my old team leader and mentor Colonel Tim Bliedistel. The Colonel is a decorated war veteran, father, husband, commercial airline pilot, friend and mentor. We discuss everything from his college days to combat. His outlook on how a leader should lead is the definition of inspiring. He has taught me everything I know about leadership and taking care of your men. If his men were sleeping in the dirt, he was in the dirt, if they did not get to shower for months, he didn't shower, he never ever asked his men to do anything that he wasn't willing to do himself, we are missing that in our leaders today.
