Practitioners in the mental health space want to help their clients cope with their feelings and behaviors, and offer guidance so they can achieve their life goals.

It’s an awesome responsibility and in some instances can lead to work environments and schedules that are conducive to long days, multi-tasking and eventually burnout.

Burnout though, isn’t the result of the work though, it’s an outcome that occurs due to a dysfunctional system and mismanagement of priorities and practitioners are often the victims.

Ashley Stephens and Regina Vanburg are both mental health provider and practice owners that have struggled with managing work and a life balance and have created a unique concept to help other mental health and wellness practitioners with avoiding burnout.

They are The Crane and The Bull.

In this episode, Regina and Ashley talk about their personal struggles and how they have crafted a unique process they are delivering in a retreat concept to help reframe burnout.
