October 9, 2023 The local Veterans for Peace group is holding a Ceremony at Reconciliation Park in Mankato, Oct. 9, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. to recognize Indigenous People's Day. Dakota Elder, Dr. Chris Mato of SW State University will speak and there will be a 38 minute silent procession with a bell rung for each individual who lost their life. Vets for Peace Chapter 27 member Jim Brown explains.
