Todays guest Charles Ewings served in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2017, specializing as a Radio Equipment Repairer (MOS: 94E) and holding a TS-SCI security clearance. His journey took him to various duty stations, including Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, deployments to Kandahar, Afghanistan, and assignments at Fort Bliss, Fort Stewart, Fort Bragg, and overseas in Korea.

Sadly, due to a right-arm injury sustained in Afghanistan, Charles had to get total of 3 surgeries and was medically retired with a 100 percent permanent and total disability rating from the VA in 2017. In his civilian career, Charles has excelled, working as an Avionics Technician at Gulf Stream, a Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, and currently is serving as a Reliability Maintenance Engineer. Charles story is one of dedication and resilience, both in his military service and civilian career. #legendsneverdie
