In episode 76 of the Marketing Matters show, host Dr. Ryan Sauers interviews the amazing Julia Westover who is the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Sheridan at Eastside.

In this interview, Julia shares her organization is a senior living community that offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. It is an active lifestyle community. Amenities include Chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, a Pool, a Fitness Center, Emergency Pendants, Happy Hours with live entertainment, etc. like a cruise ship that never leaves the dock. They are not your grandmother's nursing home.

***Tips (of many more) from Julia on her team's approach to sales and marketing:

1. Her team is not high-pressure salespeople. Instead, the philosophy is to: educate, empower, and earn trust. They work to listen, answer all your questions, and support your journey to the perfect senior living experience. Their mission is to be your trusted resource for senior living.
2. I refuse to sell a lie! I LOVE my team! My team is trustworthy! When I sell or promise something, I expect the rest of the departments in the community to deliver. I have actually resigned from a community before and told them that my integrity matters to me and I refuse to sell a lie.

3... many more nuggets of sales & marketing wisdom
