Support for Independence within the Colonies was far from unanimous. And this was boldly displayed on November 28, 1776 when the Declaration of Dependence was released and signed by many, many Loyalists from New York. The Declaration of Dependence called the American Revolution the most unnatural, unprovoked Rebellion, that ever disgraced the annuls of Time.
