Jon Haber is a Professor at Harvard University, where he teaches a graduate course on crisis communications. He has also taught at Georgetown University and lectured extensively throughout the world on politics, public policy and strategic communications.
Jon is a president of Cascade Strategy, a strategic communications consultancy he founded in Washington, DC. He works with a variety of nonprofits, government entities, companies, foundations, and elected officials on strategic storytelling, crisis communications and organizational management.
Previously Jon was a CEO of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), one of the nation’s most powerful professional associations. Prior to AAJ, Jon was a senior partner at FleishmanHillard.
Jon worked in the United States Senate for Senators Patrick Leahy, Dianne Feinstein, and Edward Kennedy, and for the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry. He was special counsel to the president at the Overseas Private Investment Corp, a U.S. government financial institution which supports private sector investment in emerging markets.
