With degrees in Cultural Studies, Linguistics, and Education, she has been fortunate over four decades to teach multiple languages both modern and ancient to young people in grades K-16; to advance the role of and advocacy for world languages through leadership in various state, regional, and national organizations; and to write and consult for, and to be the professional learning director of, a number of world language educational publishing companies.
