Abi shares what occurred on December 14, 2012 when a 20 year old broke into an elementary school and mercilessly opened fire on anyone he came across inside. The women discuss multiple things that may have led the shooter into a downward spiral and ultimately to his final act. There were many opportunities for someone to rightfully step in however self-isolation aided in keeping his dark secrets hidden. The women discuss what psychologists say as well as his mother’s shortcomings despite how much she loved him. Abi describes the heroic actions of the staff and the accomplishments of those who speak for those who didn’t survive that fateful day. @55:57-1:00:07 an interview is played where teacher Kaitlin Riog shares what happened that day.
