Ep 41 is What in the Shibal's first ever Shibal Advice Hotline (get it? bc of what "shibal" means?) with Soogia and Ed. But first, Ed bought plants but his house is still in disarray from the rat. Ed updates on the search of his siblings and was on a live TV Show to talk about it this week on Daily Blast Live. Susie is tired but her daughter had her 2nd volleyball tournament this past weekend with tons of driving, undertaking a lot as a sport parent. Susie's daughter observes teams and areas with different demographics. Ed makes a "chicken-b*tth0le face" according to his grandmother. And then Susie and Ed give advice on the inaugural "Shibal Advice Hotline". First, is a school using chopsticks and henna as art projects - appropriation? A person finds out their immigrant wife is planning on leaving them after getting their green card in a few years. How to not feel alone and depressed during the holidays, every holiday of every year. "I hate my white father in-law". A man wants his wife to promise not to re-marry if he dies first. Susie rewatched Ghost and realized her shift in perspective from watching it when she was younger till now. Is it wrong to want to break up with a partner because they are in so much debt? How do you set boundaries with Asian parents? A couple fights about "cool candles".

UPCOMING FOOD WRITE-IN: We want to hear from you about your cultural food stories! Tell us any stories you have (funny, sad, happy, nostalgic, traumatizing, etc) regarding cultural foods. Make sure to detail the dish, and the circumstances surrounding the story with all the best details! Susie and Ed are looking to do a future episode reading your stories while eating those same cultural dishes. So make sure to include all the details including your name (or let us know if you want to remain anonymous). We love to hear from you so write to us! Also feel free to write in about AITA stories or any questions/advice for us!
