Transmusic Airwaves, its unconventional free form radio. Today’s show presents a revisit of women artists in the first set. A month or so back host John Wasylko put together a set of music featuring women as lead vocalists or leading their respective groups. Little did he know what a storm he set in motion! It wasn’t long before Transmusic listener and musician friend, Harvey Gold alerted us that his Facebook had lit up a lively discussion concerning those musicians woefully left out of John’s mix (it wasn’t intended to be an exhaustive list of every female artist)! In a short time the list had created an hour set.
