Through NAMS, we’re very lucky that we have a chance to connect with and learn from many of the programs and initiatives from across the United States that already work to teach students and professionals alike about the importance of language concordant care.

For our last episode of 2023, we interview Dr. Rose Molina and Dr. Silvana Bonilla to learn about the Medical Language Program at Harvard Medical School. Through our conversation, they give us an overview of the history of medical language education and scope at HMS, highlight the work being done with Medical Spanish, and we also learn about their own personal journeys with spanish-language initiatives and related research.

If you’re interested in learning more about the programs offered at Harvard Medical School, or are considering applying to their institution, please visit their website at https://meded.hms.harvard.edu/medical-languages
