In this episode, Brett and Laura talk about investing. In a previous episode, they discussed how your first investment should be in yourself. Whether through reading, taking classes, learning a new trade, or finding a mentor. In this episode, Brett and Laura discuss what to do after that. Once you've explored all the free learning opportunities and are ready for the next step, what do you do next?

Brett and Laura explain the path they took to get where they are. To maximize their learning, they found a knowledgeable mentor. From there, they plunged into the deep end and started investing. Their initial investment was an extremely run-down house. Due to a lack of funds for renovations, Brett and Laura learned how to do it themselves. By taking the risk and putting in the hard work, they turned their first investment into a highly profitable venture inexpensively. Watch this episode to discover what Brett and Laura would do differently and what they wish they knew if they could start over!
