How can you view eating and food as a gift rather than a burden? What are some healthy behaviors that you can adopt outside of diet culture? Today's episode concludes a week-long exploration of dismantling diet culture and shifting the focus from weight loss to health.

All good things come to an end, but Leslie and I close out the series by giving you practical tips for health and wellbeing. We will be emphasizing the importance of:

  • Fueling your body
  • Reframing eating and food as a gift from God
  • Putting health into a positive perspective
  • Seeking help if you are struggling with disordered eating

Our hope is that you walk away from this series feeling loved, valued, and grateful for the wonderful body that you live in. You don’t need to conform to certain body standards imposed by others. But hear me when I say that if you are in a place where you are stuck or struggling, please, please, please seek help. You don’t have to walk through this alone. Self-care is important and professional help is available. Love and embrace your body and yourself just the way you are!
