Paron and I pick back up in our discussion on stereotypes and double standards. It's also interesting to consider the influence of celebrities and politicians on double standards in terms of establishing norms we observe in daily life. I especially like the term used by Paron, "overstand," which emphasizes the importance of empathy and lifelong learning.
