Another wild Saturday is in the books in College Basketball and host T.J. Rives is back to go over all the important action with his guests on a live version (on demand for this podcast) of "College Basketball Coast to Coast."
T.J. is joined by insider/analyst Adam Zagoria of NJ.com and Zagsblog.com who was at Madison Square Garden Saturday afternoon for defending champ UConn's win over St. John's in Big East play. The defending champ Huskies were impressive and Adam gives his thoughts from courtside.
T.J. brings in Jason Powers of the "Powers on Sports Podcast" to disuss the rest of the action that saw Kansas, UNC, Tennessee and St. Mary's, among others, get impressive wins.
Tyler Jones is on the show talking the depth and stength of the Big 12, including his Jayhawks beating Houston. And, Bayor wins a nutty game/ending with Iowa State, etc.
And, also Bart Hyche, former Mississippi State captain in the late '90s, is on to talk SEC, including Tennessee winning at Rupp Arena over the 'Cats. Bart also has more on Bama torching his guys for 99 points and what about Auburn and South Carolina also scoring road wins.
There's also some T.J. and Jason discussion of the strength of the American conference beyond FAU and Memphis with South Florida, Charlotte, UAB and others. And., the Mountain West still looks really good with numerous NCAA at large teams, while the Pac 12 and WCC will struggle to have 1-2 teams right now in the "Big Dance."
