The long awaited showdown between former sparring partners and current friends finally went down at Wembley Are a this past Saturday night.
Buatsi vs Azeez was set to take place last October, but was brought to a halt after Azeez suffered a back injury. The postponed fight was well worth the wait. The fight between Britain's two best Light Heavyweights delivered on all fronts.
Buatsi handed Azeez his first defeat, remains undefeated himself and is now the mandatory to Bivol's current WBA strap.
