In episode six of In The Dirt on the Hey Fightin' Podcast Network, hosts Alex Milazzo and Hayden Travinski are joined by former Tiger and now Toronto Blue Jay, Kevin Gausman ('11-'12). Gausman is a right-handed pitcher and Cy Young Finalist with over a 10 year career in Major League Baseball. This isn't new for Alex Milazzo, though, who caught for Kevin in Baton Rouge while the MLB and college baseball seasons were shut down over COVID.

Alex and Hayden get to the bottom of Gausman's unorthodox superstitions from his college days, along with how the pitcher/catcher relationship transforms from college to professional ball. Finally, they discuss the importance that Baton Rouge holds for many alumni of the program, and why guys stay in the 225.
