Did you know that Nigeria boasts over 84 million hectares of arable land, yet only 40% is cultivated. With a population exceeding 200 million, 214 billion cubic meters of renewable water; and abundant and reliable rainfall in over two third of its territory, our nation has some of the richest natural resources for agriculture to thrive. But with all of these wonderful resources we are blessed with, Nigeria still imports a significant portion of its food.
So, what exactly are we doing wrong?
