At the Root of "Losing" Yourself
Manage episode 400990715 series 3059129
I wrote a poem when I was in my 10th-grade English class. I wrote, essentially, that our life path is like a circle; and in between our birth and our dying, we’d at some point dedicate a lot of effort to rediscovering whoever it is that we are at the core.
This week’s podcast is a flashback to me preparing for the season of “losing myself” and getting transparent about what I learned and how I uncomfortably navigate this era almost two decades later.
In this episode, we explore the following questions:
- What are the dangers of succumbing to and staying in the idea of being lost?
- What’s the connection between losing yourself and perfectionism?
- Can any good come from “losing” yourself?
