How To (Safely) Come Out At Work Feat. Dr. Lily Lamboy
Manage episode 404554510 series 3467655
We are joined by the talented and inspiring Dr. Lily Lamboy. She's the co-founder and managing director of the Modern Family Institute and a director at the Organisation for Polyamory and Ethical Non-Monogamy (OPEN).
We chat about things poly people should consider when coming out at work and how employers can support their workers' family and relationship structures. We also discuss the constant conflation between sex and non-monogamy and the need for all family and relationship structures to be protected in law.
But first, Rich and Siobhan discuss sexism, jealously, discrimination and other fun stuff!
A huge thanks to Lily for joining us on the show. Check out the Modern Family Institute and OPEN's Open Workplaces Initiative. Visit OPEN's website and you can join OPEN's Discord. Rachel Lark's song is here.
Read The Guardian article on polyamory that we discuss.
