Lyn Slater amassed nearly 1 million followers on Instagram and built a career as a highly paid fashion influencer known as the Accidental Icon, but it made her miserable. On this week’s show, Lyn walks us through her memoir “How to Be Old,” which explores how the former social worker and professor became a front-row fixture at fashion shows and the star of global ad campaigns and why she eventually walked away from the world of social media and influencing.
