Manage episode 404812372 series 3381143
Have you ever wondered how mindfulness can completely change your life?
In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Billy Lahr, an intentional living and mindfulness coach and the voice behind the Mindful Midlife Crisis podcast. Let me tell you, Billy's story is nothing short of inspiring. From his days as a Dean of Students to his adventures around the globe, he's been on a quest for connection and purpose. He opened up about how mindfulness has been a game-changer in dealing with his anxiety and depression, and how it's transformed his relationships.
In our conversation, we covered some fascinating topics:
- Billy's transition from education to exploring the world
- Why the advice “follow your passion” is BS, and what to do instead
- How cultivating a mindfulness practice not only changed his life but most likely saved it as well
- How ditching “to-do” lists for “CHIPS” lists can make you more focused and productive
- The significance of building intentional connections
- Strategies for living a more intentional and fulfilling life
I hope you'll find as much value in this discussion as I did. Billy's insights are a powerful reminder of how living mindfully can lead us to a life filled with more happiness and deeper connections.
