Welcome to Off The Cuff—the documentary-style podcast where we take to the streets and leave the studio in the dust. Today we are joined by Ben—a private investigator that shares our love of meeting in coffee shops—the very place we originally met, in fact. He is highly knowledgeable in his field, and his passion for his work is more than obvious.

The recording takes place at a frequent stop for Ben—as he meets here often to meet with his very own clients. We're in a community office building in the downtown area of our mutual hometown of Rome, Georgia.

We discuss the many misconceptions of private investigation and what it's really like to live the life of a P.I. day in and day out. There are many laughs along the way, but even more insight into a world that I was all but ignorant about. One thing's for certain, though, you are in for a treat as we unpack this highly nuanced yet rewarding career path.

As always, thanks for joining us! If you'd like to reach out to us, you can email us at contact@hindlightmedia.com.
