Almost as much of a tradition at Disneyland as the Candy Canes at Christmas are the Easter Eggs! This year, instead of guests lining up to get one, they are sold through mobile order only. Mobile ordering opens up around park opening time, so be sure to check a little early if you want to be sure to snag this treat. The Eggstraviganza is back for guests to test their skills finding Disney character themed eggs throughout the resort. This year, the prize that you collect at the end is not an egg like in years past, but an egg-shaped character charm. The fresh baked chocolate chip cookies can now be ordered, bypassing the long line that forms for these warm treats. The cookies are still available for walk up order as well. The new outfits are more breathable than the previous version. As with many of the costumes for cast members recently, there are options for the photographers to choose from. The “photo safari” is a PhotoPass option where guest line up on the Frontierland bridge and wait for a PhotoPass photographer. Your group then gets the photographer for 10-15 minutes for no additional charge. The PhotoPass cast member will take you anywhere you want to go in Adventureland, Frontierland, or nearby Fantasyland to take multiple photos. – DISNEYLAND UPDATE: Balancing Magic with Reality – Spring Surprises & Disappointments (micechat.com) An annual tradition is coming back to the parks on July 21st this year. The annual Children’s Hospital of Orange County – or CHOC – walk is a charity walk that has been taking place at the resort for the last 32 years.
