God warned King Nebuchadnezzar in a dream that his arrogance would be his downfall. Like many fables used to teach a moral lesson the story of King Nebuchadnezzar uses a fantastical transformation to warn the hearer of the dangers of certain character traits. It took being reduced to a wild creature for him to be humbled to the point of recognizing the greatness of God.
