Many years ago when I ran a women's network, I noticed that many of the women had been told once too often 'no, you can't do that, you're just a woman', and they had come to believe it. I realised that the encouragement and mentorship I'd received from my Dad, my bosses and mentors over the years, was rare. So in my opening talk for my network, I shared the lessons and inspiration I'd had the fortune of being given, which made a big difference in my life and career. And they loved it.
So this year for International Women's Day, I thought I'd share those lessons here for listeners of the Art of Value Whispering Podcast.
