Jamie Davidson is a Co-founder and Amazon Coach at AMZ Insiders, where he advises entrepreneurs on starting, building, scaling, and exiting their e-commerce businesses. In 2018, he reached a milestone, crossing the nine-figure mark selling online products via Amazon FBA. Before his introduction to Amazon sales and AMZ Insiders, Jamie was the CEO of a private equity-backed company until 2013. Jamie is also a West Point graduate and former Army Officer, where he honed his leadership skills as a platoon leader, company executive officer, and assistant battalion supply officer.

Amazon selling expert Jamie Davidson shares that his brand rapidly grew to an eight-figure business. But when he committed to expanding to nine figures, Jamie recognized that he needed to adjust his systems and processes. He advises that as you build your business, you can conduct time studies to assess where you’re exhausting your time and identify time-consuming activities. Once you analyze your time study, work to reduce activity times, prioritize duties, and automate or delegate tasks. Additionally, you should focus on product development by creating new products and staying up-to-date on emerging industry trends. Lastly, Jamie recommends focusing on profit margin and inventory management. Understanding your net helps to determine your ability to reinvest in new products.
