When prosecutor Walter Mack volunteered to take on what he assumed was a “simplistic” case involving a few stolen cars, he had no way of knowing that this “boring” case would ultimately reach the top of organized crime in the City, change the course of New York City law enforcement, and ultimately clear dozens of cold case murders. This is the first of two episodes that focuses on connected Mob killings that resulted in dozens of cold cases.
