You often hear people say to you: “don’t quit your day job”. That often comes from when you tell a joke trying to be a comedian, or perhaps you’re bad at math and it’s a way of someone saying don’t be an accountant or you try to sing a very difficult song and bomb it and many other things. But the important thing here is that I did not say don’t quit your day job, what I am saying is not to quit your daydream. So, what’s a daydream?

That’s what you dream of doing when you grow up. Even though you’re grown up you’re still growing up so to speak. Do you feel stuck? It’s okay to be stuck, the problem is staying there. In this podcast episode I will give you mindset tips to keep that daydream going. What do you think about when you lose yourself in something you really enjoy doing? It’s a sign perhaps of a deeper calling in your life. And if it’s within reach and realistic there’s no reason why you can complete it.

In this episode I’ll also ask you many questions to get you thinking of what you need to do to get there. I’ll also touch points on what success leaves such as clues and ask you if you’re recognizing them at all. What steps are needed to achieve this? I’ll explain the theory of 6° degrees of separation and how that can help you reach your dream.

You never know what tips, tricks, and steps you can get by simply striking up a conversation with someone. This happened to me at an airport on the way back from a vacation when speaking to a pilot. I will go into the five things a daydream needs and explain them in detail. I cover many of these things in my book titled Closing the 18-Inch Gap as well. Success is not linear or straight-line/path. It takes a lot of turns and ups and downs to get where you want. You must be ready to go into it for the long haul.

I will also go into detail of what Parkinson’s law is and how this affects your progress. You must have the right mindset to achieve this, I can help you with that. I will investigate limiting beliefs and how they affect you and keep you from achieving your passion for filling a daydream. So, whatever you do, don’t quit your daydream. I can help you and, in this episode, I explain just how. Enjoy it!
