What’s the weirdest way someone could be tested to see if god is on their side? Dipping your hands in hot oil? Surviving a cobra bite? Perhaps by eating several raisins worth of bread and cheese and not choking?

Casey covers all the variety of ways that people tried to test to see if god was on the side of those who were on trial for crimes. The outcomes were simple, if you died, or didn’t heal in 3 days, you were guilty. If you survived or were miraculously healed, you were innocent.

Is there one you think you could survive? Or one that you think was the most interesting? Let us know.
