Вера Калмыкова – многодетная мать из Горловки. В 2014 году она вступила в ополчение и встала на защиту Донбасса. Во время одного из боев женщина получила серьёзное ранение и лишилась ноги. А вскоре узнала, что в ходе боевых действий погиб её сын. Вера была убита горем, но на помощь ей пришли добрые люди.
